Amenities

Southridge contains seven mapped park points, including Southridge Park, Kuipers' Peak Mountain Park, and Jack Smith Lake Park. These green spaces form the primary recreational infrastructure within the neighbourhood boundary. The mapping identifies specific locations but does not measure usage or quality. This inventory provides a baseline for understanding local outdoor access options available to residents.

One grocery point, Save-On-Foods, is also mapped within Southridge. This single retail location represents the only grocery category in the direct amenity count. The presence of this store indicates basic food shopping capability within the area. However, the data does not confirm service hours, product range, or convenience relative to other nearby options. City market context

From the Kelowna market article, 11 October 2026:

Kelowna's October 2026 report records 1,893 active listings with a 0% Sales to Active Listings Ratio. This indicates a distinct pause in local transactions within a buyer's market context. The combination of high active inventory and zero recorded sales activity defines the current Kelowna market as a buyer's environment with limited transaction momentum.
